Tim Sittler, CFP®, CAIA

Tim has been with Planning Works, Inc. since 2018 and a Principal of the firm since 2020.  He believes financial planning is the foundation of proper financial management and seeks to help clients preserve flexibility to make decisions on their terms as life happens, rather than allow future circumstances to dictate limited options.  Tim leads the teams’ investment due diligence and portfolio construction efforts for our clients. Tim started in the financial services industry in 2003 while finishing his degree at Texas State University.  Tim is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA).

Tim spent 15 years volunteering as a little league baseball coach for Western Hills Little League, the league he played in when his family moved to Austin in his youth. He hopes to resume coaching as his daughter and son become involved in sports. When not coaching, Tim enjoys golfing, tennis, and running. Tim and his wife, Yara, enjoy spending time with family, traveling, and taking the kids to outdoor music events.
